What’s the weather like?

Wailea has the best golf weather in the state of Hawaii and probably in the world.  The normal weather pattern for Hawaii is determined by the tradewinds that blow in from the Northeast.  Wailea is ideally situated on the southwest side of 10,000 foot Mount Haleakala.  Wailea has this magnificent windbreak which results in perfect golf weather.  An average of just 11 inches of rain per year means lots of sun and light breezes.  Average temperatures for the island of Maui range from 75 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit, but it's not unusual for temperatures to dip into the 60s or rise into the low 90s, depending upon the time of year. Please be sure to bring adequate sunscreen!

When can I make a tee time?

Tee times may be made up to 30 days in advance. However if you use the on-line reservation system from this website you can book 45 days in advance.

Will we be golfing next to the ocean?

You will have an ocean view on every hole at Wailea Old Blue, however you will not be directly on the coastline.  Our course is a driver - pitching wedge away from the beaches and is blessed with beautiful ocean views.  The Old Blue is located as high as 300 feet above sea level, a magnificent elevation from which to enjoy Maui’s gorgeous ocean vistas.
